It's Just...

Yon bang tipong inimbitahan ka tapos bulag ka sa mga pangyayari at naging totoo ka at napansin mo lang kung paano ka pinatutunguhan nang biglang may nagsabi sa'yo. Na yong pakiramdam na ang tanga mo; na akala mo ayos ang lahat at ang pinakamasakit doon dahil ilang taon rin kayong naging totoo at magkasama bilang kaibigan eh pinagmukha kang tanga sa harap ng karamihan at damay ang anak kung paano pinakikitunguhan. At nararamdaman mo nalang na 'bakit ganun sya? Nag-iba na sya.." Paano naman kase nasanay ka na na lagi kayong masayang magkasama pero ang ang katotohanan ay meron na palang bahid na paghuhusga..Kaya mas mabuting ganito nalang tayo kesa magplastikan pa..dahil hindi rin mag-work out lahat kung sakali..may sugat na nakaukit at sa nakikita ko masaya ka naman kaya masaya ako para sa'yo. Sana lang hindi na ako makarinig ng kahit ano pa man. Hindi ako ganung tipong tao at alam mo yan. Pero hindi ko akalain na ganun na pala ang paghuhusga mo sa akin. Salamat na marami dahil natuto na ako. Mas mabuting tahimik nalang. Yeah, naging tahimik ako, hindi kumibo pero bakit ka ganun? Ano pa ba ang gusto mo? Sana maisip mo ang kalalabasan. People push you to your limits, but when you finally explode and fight back...YOu are the Mean one..sometimes they need to know their limits too. Other times we just need to hold back or just simply to back off. It's not worth it. Oh well, dunno wich is and not worth, all i know is that i am too good to be me...LOL..dunno what i am saying..

Any way, i am glad i am able to balance everything now.

Happy thoughts

Napanood mo na ba ang pelikulang Peter Pan? Kung ganun, siguro naalala mo ang linyang "Wendy, think of happy thoughts so you can fly" ( i hope tama ako, parang ganun na nga)? It is hard to be positive when you are in the midst of circumstances. A little waggle, a little shake, everything will be alright. Just be blessed.


Isang araw, kaming mag-asawa eh pinanonood ang aming unico ijo na naglalaro ng kanyang mga laruan, trains, cars at trucks. Sabi ng asawa ko," ang swerteng bata dahil ang daming laruan na nilalaro niya, ako noon mabilang ko lang pero ang pinaka-koleksyon ko ay star wars (which binigay na niya sa aming anak)." Sabi ko naman "maswerte ka may mabilang kang laruan, siguro isang manika lang ang akin noon pero hindi talagang akin dahil tatlo kaming naglalaro sa isang manika, kaming tatlong magkapatid na babae. Pero ang pinakamasaya eh yong laro na kasama ang mga kaibigan na ang nilalaro eh bahay-bahayan at mga larong kalsada. Paano naman kase uunahin muna ang pagkain at edukasyon kesa ibili ng laruan."

Ganun pa man, hindi kami nagrereklamo. Habang patuloy naming pinanonood ang aming anak, patuloy rin akong nagkwento noong kabataan ko, hanggang ang aming anak ay lumapit sa amin at  umupo sa gitna namin at pinakikinggan ang aking kwento. Napaka-attentive niya na marinig lahat at kahit maraming tanong in between ang lalyo ng lipad ng kanyang imagination. Sa katapusan ng aking kwento, sabi ko sa anak ko, "maswerte ka dahil, kahit hindi lahat na maibigay  namin ang gusto mo, may mga kamag-anak ka na makapagbigay nito sa'yo. Kaya , you should be thankful sa Panginoon dahil maraming mga bata na walang laruan o pagkain na kinakain. " Mabait naman anak namin, maaalahanin rin sa iba at matalino kaya hindi mahirap sa kanya ang maintindihan ang mga sa sinasabi namin.

Balik-tanawin ko ang aking mga napagdaanan, masasabi kong ang swerte ko dahil may anghel akong laging nakasubaybay sa akin, na laging sinusundan ako sa lahat ng lakad ng buhay ko. Ako ay nasa early 30's na, kung tutuusin ilang buwan nalang at mag-35 na ako. Marami na akong nakabangga, pero i remained humble. Hindi man ako salat sa lahat ng luho, pero binuhusan  ako ng pagmamahal. Minsan hindi mo talaga maiwasan na ikumpara mo ang sarili mo sa iba, ngunit kapag tinitingnan ko ang nakapaligid sa akin, mas maswerte ako kesa sa kanila. Hakuna Matata... God is good all the time. Mapapangiti nalang ako kapag naisip ko lahat ng tagumpay na nagawa ko sa buhay. Katunayan nga ako'y nagagalak dahil yon ang nakapagbigay sa akin ng lakas ng loob.

Happy Thoughts: despite of, basta may pananalig tayo sa Taas, tayo ay magtatagumpay. At 'wag rin nating kalimutan na ibahagi ang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Found a trick

I hurt my lower back at work last Wednesday. And so my employer wants me to go to emergency to have a check but then i said , nah i will wait tomorrow. Next morning i thought i would feel better, but then they asked me again to have it checked, hard headed me, i declined. But they saw me how's my job would be like and they don't want it like that.  So they gave me papers and off i went to the emergency. Oh yeah, i feel the pain in my ass, ha ha ha ha..

Anyway, so i had restrictions and not able to go back to work till the next Wednesday on my next appointment. And if i will feel better over the weekend, i can come back on Tuesday. Better though.

Here's the trick, i pulled a muscles on my lower back, man, it hurts. Physician told me that the icy hot not really working. She told me to have a hot patch or a hot towel wrap on my back or hot tub and stay for 15-20mins. Today was my followup checkup. Same thing same thing..When i got home, got an idea that i guess would help a  lot better. I tried to have a warm towel and wrap on my back, but it cool off just a minute. Then i looked at to the empty bottled water and thought, maybe. I put hot water on it and rub over my lower back and , oh, it feels good. Very soothing. More than better to get icy hot or patch or hot compress..Here is the trick that will not cost any dime at all. Bingo..hoping and praying i will feel better so we can go ride the train on Sunday..

Today the weather was fabulous , perfect..love it..

I so love my job especially when you do it lovingly with all your heart. That's what matter most when you love your job, people you work with will appreciate you and acknowledge your goodness. In return, you will be rewarded regardless of having such a stressful day and yet in the end of the day you will be able to say, ahhh i am done for today.

Last week, we celebrate Teacher Appreciation week at work. Along with the kind words, their thoughtfulness i pleased. Yes, i can't thank enough to my parents who made my week so special. Gifts, certificates, chocolates, cards are greatly appreciated.

My patients endures even to the extent my head is going to popped and yet they made my day everyday...

Kudos to me for working to these wonderful people..

Thank You Lord for giving me the job and more blessings to me and my family..

A Happy-Sad Good-Bye to you Baby Rubber Ducky

When i counted down to one, Nathan replied, "ok Mama, come over here first, i wanna show you something"..Yes mama went to the bathroom and showed to me something. Yep, he was in the bath tub having a bath. I said, ok off the it now..and he did. I turned my back to get his clothes and there he was crying like a baby. His small baby rubber ducky went to the hole of the tub while water draining. He was crying, sobbing like he lost the most important thing of his life. I told him, it's ok we can get another one, how many do you want? He replied: i want 3 of it. .Ok tomorrow we will get 3..He was thinking something and said: so my ducky will go to the sea as all the water pipes goes to the sea. .Then to  Mama's brilliant thought: Yes, and probably a kid will find it , a kid that has no toy at all. That kid would be so happy to have your ducky. He remembered: oh yeah! i found the ducky at the playground coz somebody lost it and i found it, when i found it i was so happy, then a kid that will get it will be happy..(with excitement tone)..so it was done..

Easter Sunday

Oh well, it was good Sunday as the family went to church and i am more than proud to Nathan..he looks really a grown young man..

Easter Egg Hunting Time

How many egg hunting Nathan been to? Oh boy! Imagine how many eggs he had now. I wish my family will experience this. Oh my wish came true..Just for a family activity, told my sister to get plastic eggs & some candies & chocolates to enjoy the easter Sunday and let the kids hunt them. Some cash for the older ones , how fun is that?

Anyway, Nathan started hunting eggs last Saturday at my work as family activity; then at school; then at my friend; and last today. hinay2x lng jud sa kaon og candies kay lisud na, hahaha..

Sunday Madness

Employees of my work held its egg hunting activity for the family. Today i thought it's going to rain but only cloudy so it didn't stop us to pursuit the set date. Though not all workers came but it was fun especially this activity attributes to kids & babies. Employees got a chance to participate the game. Yes, we went to hunt the golden egg to the prize of free jeans the rest of the year. I thought i found it but it was not the golden egg, just the color is gold yellow, ha ha ha..Anyway, overall it was fun. Nathan got his basket full of eggs. He met new friends too. Then we had a good lunch to our favorite resto. Went home to watch the game...Oh yeah!!! Bigblue-kentucky won..We were all so loud cheering the big blue..Nathan was yelling GO KENTUCKY ...GO CATS...That's what i am talking about,Davis..he likes Davis.. Oh well, i hope they will win the title this season. One thing i know this time is that, we can wear jeans on Monday,wohhooo..

Best Day for Biking

This was on Sunday after the mass. Me and my friends went out for a picnic by the small park. We love going there as there's no much people and we could just watch them from far. Nathan and his buddy had a good time biking and play at the playground for 3hours. How i wish i can still have that energy, ha ha ha..but as you get older, the energy level starting to drain, arrgghhh...

My Extra Lucky Boy

During their St.Patrick's day activity. He was wearing this shirt. I thought this is cute to wear. Indeed, he's the luckiest boy in mama's world. Not only he let me feel loved and special but with all his sweetness in words and actions, i can't ask for more.

Because of too much excitement with their activity, i bought a new one for him to wear in the afternoon. My ultimate big boy..

Proud Mama

 

 I am just a proud mama to my son. I pray that he would always love doing this kind of thing as he grow up. He is always reminding me to make his homework. Sometimes when he forgot doing it, the moment he wakes up he would go straight to his homework.

 His other teacher has to work other room, so he made a card to his teacher and he bought a gift for her. He was writing this. He asked me the spelling if he can't spell it right. His hand writing is way good and his ability to read is for first grade level. Teachers said good compliments about him. Siya lang ang nakapagbabasa sa class nila, so he always finished their learning activity first.

 Pretty day today..Nathan and I went for a walk after my work around the college campus. Glad we still able to see this pretty trees and we enjoyed looking around.

first weekend of spring

It has been good weather lately and spring has just sprung. The picture shown taken at the capitol and they always planted tulips every spring is coming. A beautiful tulips at the capitol has been a one rare spot for visitors and good for taking pictures.

Then we went to a trip out of town to have some grocery shopping at Jungle Jim's and stayed a night half way through. The hotel we stayed there's a golf place to play. Luckily, we were able to play for free as one their complimentaries to all their guests. We had fun esp my nathan. Headed home to watch basketball game. Yey to kentucky as they won the game for final 4..

Looking forward for next weekend..

pinoy kakanin

A Pinay myself away from my country home who loves pinoy kakanin is happy as normal human being to have found such missing appetite to my stomach. Yes, i have lived over 6 years now in the US and yet still pinoy is pinoy, true blood of being a pinoy that can't be taken away by any race. Last year, 2011, of spring, i went to Pihilippines with my son for a visit and when we came back in US, we stayed 2 days in California. Oh boy, my friend took us to pinoy bakery and u can imagine how my eyes went big looking those kakanin. So, yesterday we went to a supermarket where u can find asian stuffs, and found these(picture shown). Can't wait to cook these. I haven't tried it yet but i am so determined and hoping it will turn good..wish me luck..not this time, maybe soon, ha ha ha...
